I really need to read this one. It's been on my list for too long.

Thank you for the recs! Can't wait to read Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow and Biz. I can't find the Japanese Narnia book on my library cards but I might just buy it. Sounds right up my alley!

I loved Writers and Lovers, and while didn’t hate ending, I agree that it felt like a different book. I was expecting something less neatly wrapped up - more ambiguous. I also didn’t feel that Casey had been shown to have a very strong emotional connection to Silas? So I found it odd that so much of the final pages revolve around him.

Yes! The tidiness. Also the part where it was like name your wildest price for your book, all your loans, double it- suddenly the book was a fantasy? That truly doesn’t happen in real life. I was expecting something simpler, less wish fulfillment? But still loved the book.

Gosh, I love your blog. You have such a strong voice!! Can't wait for you first book. (No pressure.) Thanks for all the recommendations... super helpful. Sorry to hear that you had Covid. Yuk. I just finished The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn. Loved it. Historical fiction but based on true story. I also loved The Paper Palace, especially because my family had a cottage on the lower Cape in the 60's and 70's.

I miss you, Jillian and love all your recommendations. The paper palace absolutely devastated me at the end. Have you read it?
